Our cuisine is rooted and inspired by classic, time-honored techniques, foodstuffs and styles from Europe, parts of Asia and the American South. All combined, it's what makes us a uniquely American restaurant.
Most of our ingredients; meat, fish, produce etc., come from regional and local sources but what’s most important is that they are source verified. We do this in order to achieve a cuisine that is always fresh and flavorful… the way it should be.
Our ducks are raised on Long Island by the last remaining duck farm in these parts. The Crescent Farms ducks are plump and natural, but the fact that they are allowed to be free range and treated humanely is vital for Chef Terry and you can sense the reverence in his cooking.
Harwood on Hudson is a collaborative effort between four longtime friends and colleagues who share a deep passion for food. We are Chefs Terry and Lisa Harwood and West Village residents Kim Nguyen Block and Bill Block. Together, we’ve built Harwood on Hudson for the neighborhood, serving as a lively and welcoming restaurant ideal for all — friends catching up at the bar or breaking bread, family dinners, couples on date night, solo diners and celebratory occasions.
